A threatening note. Secrets and lies. And Hope in the middle…

Lady Hope has seven brothers who are all away on extended honeymoons for Christmas. So when an old friend catches her reading an ominous letter, the last thing she wants is to be protected by him: her brother’s best friend, a notorious rake. She’d rather be a spinster helping the world around her than just another useless, pretty trophy.

Independent Isaac, the Duke of Regium, refuses to accept care from anyone, especially his best friend’s little sister. So when he finds out she’s being threatened, he takes it upon himself to protect her from all danger. But when his bare body collides with hers, there might be a new danger at play.

Can Isaac lower his guard enough for Hope to care for him? Or will he stubbornly continue in his rakish ways?

Read A Flurry for a Duke if you love the magic of Christmas. It’s a deliciously sweet and spicy easy read with witty banter and lovable characters.

One of my favorites

As the only sister of the Ashbourne brothers, Hope gets her HEA while they are all gone on their honeymoons. Isaac is her brothers’ friend and has kept a healthy distance from Hope while still being friendly. This is now my second favorite book in this series.

Snow White with a little spice

A delightful, sweet and charming romance wrapped up in a little spice just in time for Christmas. Hope and Isaac are wonderful and lovable, friends with so much love to give and I adored how all their barriers came down to reach their happily ever after.

A Happy Ending for Hope

This short story ties into the Ashbourne Legacy series. All of the brothers are away on their honeymoons leaving little sister Hope at home planning a Christmas house party with her mother. Considering that her mother is a renowned matchmaker, it stands to reason that Hope will soon get a husband.
Isaac and his sister showed up early for the house party. Most fortuitous! Falling in love with the brother's best friend escalated rather quickly as Hope and Isaac literally found themselves in some hot water. They had known each other forever but everything suddenly had a new perspective.

I'm a bit behind on the Ashbournes, but this novella was still easy to follow. However, if you are planning on reading those, read them first. This was an entertaining feel-good story with a bit of spice. There was also some mystery which will undoubtedly be continued in the next novella.
I received a free ARC from the author and this is my honest review.
